I was a distracted, horny mess. I couldn’t think about Patrick without thinking about the way he had spanked me; the way he had strapped me down to the examination table and thrust his cock down my throat; the way he had pulled me into his body as he handed me coffee Sunday morning. By the time Wednesday evening came around, I would have spontaneously combusted if he so much as looked at my clitoris.

This book is so well written and I love it! I cannot wait for the next book in this series! This one shows the care a Dom can show his sub without destroying her self worth. It also show's how a sub can start to rebuild trust in a new Dom after a heartbreaking experience.It makes the book seem so real!
Partrick and Lisa are seeing each other still. They each have a secret that can tear each other apart. But are holding back out of fear because of what is building between them They have a closeness in the playful Dom and sub bedroom. But are like any "normal" couple outside of that. Each are wondering if they can take it further. Lisa had had a very bad relationship in the BDSM world that almost destroyed her but got out of it before it did and had sworn never again would someone own her. And now Patrick was showing some of those signs. And she was craving the intensity again. What was she going to do. She did not want to give him up because she knew she could be a sub in the bedroom for him but not 24/7. And Patrick did not want a full time sub he wanted to be her Dom but not full time. But neither would talk about it. But then his ex-wife stepped in and told Lisa something that destroyed the trust she was building with Patrick and she pushed him away. Her heart was shattered and she felt betrayed .What was she going to do now?

I bought this book thinking it would be different from the other doctor exam books. It turns out it is way to much like "Fifty Shades of Gray". Just change the Dom from a rich recluse to a doctor and you have "Doctor Dom". The exams,such as they are, are just your routine GYN exams and some lite BDSM throw in. I will not be spending any more time or money to read the rest of the story. It is just a too much like the others.
